In September 2016, Mr. Kebekus founded CEfAM GmbH & Co. KG. He completed the training courses as a CE representative and CMSE (Certified Machinery Safety Expert) at TÜV Süd, in order to expand his CE-specific know-how.
INFO INFOAs a trained electrician, Mr. Kebekus started his career in the field of plant engineering at the mechanical engineering company REMAK (today WEMO Automation). After having been employed as an electrical installer of domestic engineering, Mr. Kebekus joined the company Reis Robotics (today KUKA Industries GmbH), a manufacturer of industrial robots. There he was responsible for the commissioning of robotic automation systems as well as maintenance and repair of Reis industrial robots in Germany and abroad for four and a half years.
In 1995, Mr. Kebekus founded the company Kebekus Industrie Service (K.I.S.) and became self-employed with the programming of robot-based automation systems and robot simulation. As a manufacturer-independent service provider, the service of K.I.S. includes the programming of robots from the manufacturers KUKA, FANUC, Reis Robotics, ABB, Motoman, Kawasaki and Siemens. To date, the company has been able to build a customer base of around 40 medium-sized companies. Since many of K.I.S.'s customers are located abroad, Mr. Kebekus has been able to stay in different countries, such as China and the US, to gain extensive intercultural experience.
In the course of the business activities of K.I.S. Mr. Kebekus experienced an increasing demand for CE marking of automation systems. Since the services of K.I.S. do not include CE marking, Mr. Kebekus founded the company CEfAM GmbH & Co. KG in September 2016. After completing his training at TÜV as a CE Commissioner and CMSE (Certified Machinery Safety Expert), Mr. Kebekus was able to build CE-specific know-how. This is complemented by his expertise in the field of automation systems, which he was able to build through his thirty years of professional experience.
Through regular training, CEfAM's team is always up-to-date with the current guidelines and standards.
